Trackable URL Generator

Use this tool to generate consistent tracking links for your campaigns. These parameters help you understand where traffic and donations are coming from across email, ads, text, and other channels.

Start with your website URL. This is the page you want someone to land on. Do not include any tracking parameters. Those will be added for you.

The UTM Campaign should describe the initiative itself. Keep it simple and evergreen. Avoid using years. For example, use cye instead of cye26. Consistency across campaigns is more important than detail.

The UTM Medium represents the type of channel you are using, such as email, SMS, or paid. The UTM Source narrows that down further to where it came from, like housefile, prospecting, Facebook, or Google.

Use UTM Content when you need more detail. This is helpful for identifying audience, version, or creative variation. For email, this might look like em1_d or em1_nd. For Facebook, you can use {{ad.id}}_{{adset.name}}_{{ad.name}} to capture the full structure.

If you are using Virtuous, you can optionally include your code to append the sc= parameter for tracking.
